About the AHBMT

Founded in 1992, the Association of Holistic Biodynamic Massage Therapists embraces several selective treatments already proven in various disciplines of healthcare. Together, these beneficial practices enable a qualified therapist to fine-tune individual sessions in harmony with the body's natural ability to restore a healthy flow of energy.

Our major aims are:

  • To hold regular meetings as a forum for discussion and to provide a supportive network for members.
  • To maintain a register of qualified practitioners. To maintain high standards of practice in accordance with our Code of Ethics and Complaints Procedure.
  • To make available to members good value insurance.
  • To produce a twice-yearly journal.
  • To provide information to the general public and to other professionals about the nature and benefits of biodynamic massage.
  • To send representatives to national bodies such as the British Complementary Medical Association.
  • To update and develop biodynamic massage and encourage research.
