At the Spring Meeting this year the theme was case histories: being with our clients. This led to a lot of discussion both during the day and afterwards. All contributors to the Journal have chosen to share their experiences, ranging from being a newly qualified therapist to those with several or more years as a practitioner under their belt. What intrigues me in these accounts is the writers' curiosity and the universal strands that develop out of these seemingly separate encounters, made possible by the engagement of each person involved. Advance notice in this issue as well of the up and coming changes in the executive committee; our Chair, Kathrin, will stand down in October, handing the reins to Brett. Other proposals will be announced at the AGM. For those who have waited for a chance to become more involved in the running of AHBMT there will be ample opportunity to do so in what promises to be a time of changes ahead.
